Welcome to Longhoughton First School Website. We hope our site will give you information about our school and community. We hope to provide you a flavour of what it’s like to be at Longhoughton Church of England First School.
The school opened its doors on the present site in June 1961 and is situated in the rural village of Longhoughton which is east of Alnwick in Northumberland. We have five classrooms, a library, a cooking area, a multi purpose hall and ICT facilities. We also have a large school field which includes a wildlife area, pond, butterfly garden and climbing play areas. We have recently added a vegetable patch as part of our healthy school/biodiversity programme.
We have strong links within the community with St Peter & St Paul's Church, Longhoughton, Little Flyers Childcare, RAF Boulmer and Longhoughton Village Development Trust.
