Welcome to Longhoughton First School Website. We hope our site will give you information about our school and community. We hope to provide you a flavour of what it’s like to be at Longhoughton C of England First School.
Longhoughton School first opened its doors on the present site in June 1961. Since then, there have been two extensions to the school to make it into a six classroom unit with a hall that serves as a dining room. In June 1996 the RAF Boulmer Nursery School re-opened in a mobile classroom at the rear of the school. We have 16 PCs and 20 wireless lap tops. We also have a wildlife area, a pond, a sensory garden and climbing play areas.
